The Grandes Rousses hotel is continuing to grow . With its 4th star hanging on its façade since 2016, 2017 saw the unveiling of the Spa des Alpes – its exceptional well-being centre. This ongoing project is to enhance the holiday experience with emphasis on the ‘French’ touch and the project is well underway. The key theme is: The art of mountain living; blending cocooning and design…
The future property will expand to include 45 rooms and extra suites. There will be a second restaurant that can be reached on skis as it opens onto 400m² deck which also benefits from an outdoor swimming pool. There will be a modular conference and banquet room of 275 m² which can be converted into 4 separate individual spaces as well as a ski-shop and a concept store…
The project also includes a residence, called ‘Le Hameau de Clotaire’, with 57 apartments and 4 VIP chalets of 250 m² , 2 of which will benefit from the hotels services and include a butler and private chef! Prestigious high-end services ensure that you will fully savour the alpine experience… The hotel extension project started at the beginning of April 2018 and the existing hotel is also undergoing refurbishment in order to prepare the way for its new extension. The Lobby and Bar have been rethought out with particular emphasis on a personalized welcome.
The results of this 1st phase will be revealed in December 2018. Regarding the extension and its numerous additional facilities, we will have to wait another year … The opening is planned for 2019.
